Weirdness Wednesday

A recent news report out of L.A. reports that police found the skeleton of a human woman believed to have died in 2006 in a home in North Hollywood, California, that they were investigating for foreclosure.

Also found in the trash filled home was a man, Robert Hunt, believed the be son of the dead woman, 26 cats, three opossums and a raccoon.

The remains of the woman were found in a bed in a back room and the deterioration of the body made it difficult to determine the cause of death. The man had not been taken into custody at the time of the report.

California has been hit hard by the national wave of foreclosures -- when mortgage lenders repossess homes because buyers cannot meet their payments -- following a slump in the U.S. housing market and the credit market crunch.

No word on what will happen to the 26 cats.

it sounds like a lot more than foreclosure was going on in that home.

Sounds fishy. Wouldn't it be smelly with a decomposing corpse in the house???? Hope homes can be found for the 26 kitties.
