Staying Safe on Saturday

In case of a house fire you may be scared and hiding and the firemen may not be able to see or hear you.

So, how can we keep safe in case of an emergency like a house fire?

A simple and inexpensive solution is a window decal that alerts firemen that you are in the house. We get some of these for KissyMouse from from Beans' sister. They are not really stickies, they are clingies!

While I would like to send one to each and every one of you, I can't. However, the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is currently offering pet owners a Pet Safety Pack. It includes a window decal that alerts emergency personnel that pets are inside your home. And it is free for the asking.

Sign up for your Pet Safety Pack. It's free. It will only take a minute. And this decal could very well save your life. Go to: www.aspca.org/petsafetypack_petplace.

The pack also includes a free magnet with contact information for the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center - an important toll-free emergency number and website address. It's important to keep this information handy in case you get into something you shouldn't!

Something Borrowed, Something Blue

Did you know that the Russian Blue is considered lucky in Russia, and a new bride will sometimes be given a picture of one?

Directory Cleaner?

My bean wants to know if any one out there uses a Directory Cleaner program on their computer and can recommend one for us. When we get this computer, it have old information on it. Some of the programs bean want to keep, but we installed the new Windows over the old windows and she thinks this cause problem with computer. If you can recommend a good one, please leave in a comment for me. Thanks.
